DR. TOM BARLOW
DO, DHED, FAAD, FACMS
Dr. Tom Barlow’s medical career is a testament to his dedication and passion for dermatology.
He grew up in American Fork, Utah and graduated from American Fork High School. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Utah, where he also studied ants.
He chose to go to medical school at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri, where he loved the small town feel. He fell in love with dermatology while doing an elective rotation with Dr. John Bezzant in Pleasant Grove.
Upon graduation from medical school, he began active duty service in the US Navy. He was stationed in San Diego for several tours, and also served in Iraq, Japan, Brazil, El Salvador, Florida, and Washington. During his military career, he completed training as a Naval Flight Surgeon, residency at Naval Medical Center San Diego, where he was chief resident, and a fellowship in Mohs Surgery and procedural dermatology at Scripps Clinic in La Jolla, CA. He loves teaching, and completed a Doctorate of Health Education while in the military.
Dr. Barlow continues to serve our military as a Naval reservist and as a part time physician at the George A. Whalen VA Medical Center Department of Dermatology.
He is pleased to be back at home, and loves using his experience to help bring better skin health to friends and neighbors in our community. When he is not working, he likes spending time with his family and tending to bees and sheep in his backyard.
CHRISSY LINTON
NP
Chrissy brings over 20 years of dermatology experience
to Deseret Dermatology and is the primary provider at
our new Eagle Mountain location.
Her approach to patient care is shaped by three things:
decades of hands-on clinical experience, a deep commitment
to continuous learning, and her own perspective as a patient
and mother who understands what it means to find a provider
you can truly trust. She believes every patient deserves
clear explanations, individualized treatment, and a
practice that feels welcoming from the moment they walk in.
Chrissy earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and
Master of Science as a Family Nurse Practitioner from
Brigham Young University, and her Doctorate of Nursing
from Oregon Health and Science University. She is
board certified with the American Academy of Nurse
Practitioners and the Dermatology Nurses Association.
Outside of work, Chrissy’s world revolves around her
family. Her husband, two sons, and whatever adventure
they happen to be chasing at the moment.
EMMA
OFFICE MANAGER
Meet Emma, our sweet and positive office manager. She loves administrative dermatology but wouldn’t be caught dead assisting with surgery. She loves interacting with patients and often doubles as a receptionist. Outside of work, Emma’s world revolves around spending time with family and friends, capturing life through a camera lens, and occasionally hosting dance parties just for herself. She is also currently studying photography at Brigham Young University.

AESTHETICIAN & MEDICAL ASSISTANT
Shamae, our aesthetician and medical assistant, warmly welcomes patients with a friendly smile as they step through our doors. She is an expert at helping patients feel comfortable and is the most multiskilled staff in the office. Beyond the clinic, her adventurous spirit thrives on road trips and outdoor escapades like hiking. She also cherishes quality time with family and expresses her creativity through painting. Shamae’s passion lies in boosting her patients’ confidence and celebrating their transformations, including sharing their excitement about before-and-after photos!
SEQUOIA
MEDICAL ASSISTANT
Meet Sequoia, a compassionate medical assistant whose friendly, calming personality helps everyone around her feel at ease. With over 10 years of experience, she has the knowledge, dedication and skills to help our patients receive the best care possible. She has a gift for seeing the world through the eyes of others and enjoys learning about different cultures and perspectives. She loves spending time with her daughter and fiance, doing anything from camping to video games. She also enjoys reading, writing, expressing her creativity through art and preserving her Sioux heritage through traditional hoop dancing.
JAIMIE
MEDICAL ASSISTANT
Meet Jaimie is an enthusiastic and nurturing medical assistant with a love for adventure and family. Her family has a long history of working in dermatology and she’s so happy she followed their footsteps. She is always reliable and warm with patients. When she’s not caring for our patients, you’ll find her out riding her side-by-side, fishing, spending quality time with family, hosting UFC fight nights, and enjoying great food.

RECEPTIONIST
Pam is a receptionist who you’ll love immediately! She has worked in dermatology for over twenty years and loves it so much she can’t leave it alone. She loves getting to know patients and spending time with her coworkers. When she’s not in the office, you can catch her mountain biking, serving those around her, and spending time with her kids and grandkids.

MEDICAL ASSISTANT
Meet Rylee, a medical assistant who always cares for our patients with a welcoming and outgoing personality. She enjoys connecting with people and creating a positive environment. Outside of work, she loves staying active through dance and snowboarding, and is always up for new adventures like traveling, camping or boating.
